Welcome bonus guides: the match, priced end to end
A welcome bonus is a contract with four numbers in it — match, cap, wagering, expiry — and the banner prints only the first. This series prices all four, on every variant the market sells.
The scorecards come first — every operator below is scored with welcome-offer value in mind, and the ranking note under the cards explains the order.

Open the offerWhat the welcome series covers
The series covers the match ladder by percentage: 100%, 200%, 300% and the 400% outliers, each with its own page because each rung changes the wagering arithmetic differently. It also covers the two dominant bundle shapes — deposit-plus-spins (the £10/£5 matched bundles live in the free-spins hub) and the no-deposit welcome (costed in the no-deposit hub) — and the 100-free-welcome-bonus page where the spins-heavy welcome is priced as its own product.
The pattern the series documents: as the match percentage climbs, the wagering multiple and the cap tighten, because the room is risking more per pound deposited. A 400% match is not three times better than a 100% match; it is a different contract with different defence lines. Each guide runs the same four-line ledger so the rungs can be compared honestly — and usually the honest comparison embarrasses the biggest banner.
| Guide | The offer it prices |
|---|---|
| 100% deposit bonus: the standard match | The baseline contract |
| 200% deposit bonus: the double plus | The second rung and its tighter terms |
| 300% deposit bonus: the triple | The third rung, costed |
| 400% deposit bonus: the ceiling | The top rung and its defence lines |
| 100 free spins welcome bonus | The spins-heavy welcome |

How the series prices a welcome offer
The ledger: bonus value (deposit times match, capped where the cap bites), wagering owed (bonus times multiple, priced against realistic daily play), the cap on convertible winnings, and the expiry clock. The prefilled calculator on every page does the arithmetic; the prose explains which line the offer is actually defending with. The series also models the exit: what the bonus is worth if you never clear the wagering (nothing), and what the cash-side of a mixed offer is worth on its own (often most of the value).
Declining the bonus is treated as the legitimate move it is: on steep multiples, the bare deposit is worth more than the deposit plus a contractual anchor. The guides price that trade explicitly, because the market counts on readers never doing it.
Start here
Start with the match rung on your screen: 100, 200, 300 or 400 below. If the offer is spins-heavy, the 100-free-welcome page covers it; if it claims no deposit needed, the no-deposit hub has the costed version; if it bundles spins with a matched deposit, the free-spins hub's deposit-match guides price the bundle. Every page ends with the same advice: read the four numbers before the deposit, not the banner.
